Discovering the extraordinary in the ordinary

Stories. Chicago. Human-centered design. Chocolatey black coffee and a good read. (Why not add a delectable pastry from a local bakery.)

I've always been drawn to people's stories — whether during a chance conversation or a co-design session with clinical staff. That curiosity is what led me to service design, and it's what keeps me energized by the work.

As a service designer and experience researcher, I feel privileged to translate people's experiences into strategy and services that actually make a difference. The work is never solo; it's the talented researchers, designers, engineers, product managers, support teams, and leaders I get to collaborate with that make it meaningful.

AI is reshaping what services can do and what people expect from them — and that shift makes me more curious, not less. I'm actively exploring how to design experiences that are desirable in a world where the boundaries between human and automated are constantly being redrawn.
